I want to tell you how pleased we are with the ProTrac GPS system.
Many of our golfers are taking advantage of ProTrac's unique "Caddy-in-the-Cart"
capability. They feel "Caddy-in-the-Cart" lowers their scores by as many as five strokes
per round, by providing them the equivalent of a caddy to assist them throughout their
round.
In addition to ProTrac lowering their scores, our golfers like the faster pace of play that
results from not having to look for yardage markers and pacing off distances to markers.
The increased peace of play, when combined with your cart-tracking / messaging system,
has reduced our overall round time by at least 30 minutes. On busy days, this equates to
two to three more foursomes.
With the cart-mount system that ProTrac recently replaced, we often had to pull a
significant number of carts out of our cart fleet, while we waited for a GPS repairman.
With ProTrac's "pull and replace" capability, we no longer have to pull carts out of our
fleet, which is a great relief to our cart personnel.
I am particularly pleased with the effect ProTrac's lower per round charge and "No Play
- No Pay Program" will have on our bottom line. With the cart-mount system, we had a
set monthly charge. Having to write a fixed amount check during periods we were closed
due to hurricanes was very disconcerting. Under your "No Play - No Pay Program", the
checks we write will be in line with our off-season and calamity month revenue levels.
When we had the cart-mount system, we often found it difficult to get timely service and
support. As you expressed to me, the fact that you are a local area franchise would mean
committed, timely service response. I certainly have found that to be the case.

We recently had ProTrac GPS installed on our course and we have been quite pleased
with both the system and the service that we have experienced from Golf GPS Systems II.
The players have also been very complimentary of the system; some say that it has sped up
their play due to the ability of the unit to indicate exactly what the distance is to
the hole from where their ball is. The unit looks professional and the company has
presented themselves in a very professional manner at all times during installation and
training of the system.
If anyone were to ask our opinion, we strongly recommend the system to any
other golf courses that may be considering it as it benefits us as well as the players.
